Approximately 200,000 unwanted horses are in need of rescue in the United States each year. Many of them have been abused & neglected. A large number are shipped to slaughterhouses.

Our mission

As a registered charitable 501(c)(3) our primary mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses that have been abused or neglected in order to place them in loving homes. CVHR offers programs that will enhance the quality of life for children and adults by providing equine-assisted programs.

Meet the Team

We're calling on your support for our horse rescue operation. Each horse in our care requires $500 per month for their upkeep, including food, medical attention, and training. While full sponsorship is an incredible gift, we also offer shared sponsorships. Whether it's splitting the cost with another donor or forming a group of up to 10 people to share the sponsorship, your contribution makes a huge difference in these horses' lives. Your generosity helps us provide them with care, love, and a chance for a better future.
